The Tandem International Multilingual Curriculum (Tandem IMC) is the core competitive advantage of the Tandem schools. Its structure and philosophies are closely related to international curricula, especially those currently in use in international schools. However, Tandem IMS is different from other schools in that it has researched and developed a curriculum specifically aimed at enhancing multilingual and multicultural approaches.
Our curriculum has been developed to combine both the official Swiss Kindergarten and Primary School curriculum as well as elements of the International Early Years Curriculum. This way the Tandem IMC combines elements of both the Swiss and the international programmes (IBO: International Baccalaureate Organization’s Primary Programme as well as the Ontario curriculum from Canada). |
