| Our École Française supports and encourages our Pre-School and Kindergarten children to work towards a challenging multilingual programme at primary school level. Parents have the option to add to their child's weekly bilingual programme, in English and German, an additional full day in French by choosing our École Française on Fridays. | ||
What is our École Française? | ||
| The École Française will introduce French to our Pre-Schoolers an Kindergarteners in a playful and engaging way. Our French teachers have French as one of their stronger languages and have during their childhood years acquired a French cultural background. Our École Française is a fantastic opportunity to add a third language to your child’s programme and to turn the education at Tandem IMS into a trilingual experience. It equally prepares the children well for the Tandem IMS Primary School where we offer French on almost a daily basis. | ||
When, Where and Who | ||
| Our École Française is offered every Friday in all our three schools. In Uetikon and Zollikon for 2 to 4 year olds (Early Years and Pre-School) In Zurich for our 3-6 year olds (Kindergarten 1, 2, 3) In our Primary School in Zurich, French is integrated into the curriculum and into the Units of Enquiry. French is taught by French first language speakers- the teaching is not only linguistic but also cultural. For further information and enrolment forms please contact the school offices. | ||
