Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Tandem IMS PTA Mission Statement
The Tandem Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is an active link between teachers and parents in order to support the school in a wide variety of ways. It supports, and is supported by the Tandem teaching staff and Headteacher, directly linked via the Zürich Deputy Head, in positively promoting school life.
What is NOT the role of the Parents Association?
The PTA group is solely responsible for the PTA funds and we endeavor to be efficient and effective when investing in school projects. We provide ‘extras’, often 'fun things' that make learning and life at Tandem IMS more interesting and exciting for the children, parents and staff.
Please visit your school location's PTA page in the parents’ section for information on PTA sponsored events and activities or contact your PTA directly.
There are many different ways you can help with the PTA. You can be sure of a warm welcome and appreciation whether you have lots of time to offer or not. Some roles are time-consuming, although also rewarding, but certainly not all. If you can’t commit to a big job, look out for things you can get involved with less frequently. You can always support PTA events by simply turning up and having fun with us! If you wish to volunteer for school events, or if you have suggestions or comments on the working of the PTA, please feel free to contact any PTA member. For administrative simplicity in a multi-lingual school such as ours, our working language is English.
