We hope 2026 has started positively for you and your children. We realise this is a busy time for pupils, especially those preparing to enter Gymnasium next school year. We wish all pupils the very best as they work towards their goals — and we look forward to welcoming new families to join us on this journey.
To offer a further glimpse into everyday life at Tandem IMS Campus Küsnacht, we invite you to watch our new Image Film. It captures the atmosphere of our campus, our approach to learning, and the way pupils engage with academic, creative, and personal development. The film offers authentic insights into what makes our school unique and how we accompany pupils on their educational journey.
Upcoming Information Event: 21st January
Families interested in learning more about our Tandem IMS Gymnasium and the registration process for the next school year are warmly invited to our Information Evening on Wednesday, 21st January at 18:00. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore our curriculum, meet staff, and see how we support pupils' growth in a holistic way. Places are limited, so we encourage early registration.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing more about life at Tandem IMS
Admissions interviews for potential new pupils joining in August have already begun. We are delighted to meet each child personally, as this allows us to understand their abilities and potential in a holistic way. We truly believe pupils are so much more than their grades, and our admissions process reflects this philosophy. You may find out more about our admissions here.
Looking Ahead: Exciting Term for Our Pupils with Guest Speakers
This term, our Gymnasium pupils have a number of enriching experiences ahead. At the beginning of February, older pupils will take part in a project week focused on Anthropology, exploring themes of identity, purpose, and future-ready skills. They will be guided by visiting specialists, including world explorer Anthony Willoughby, and will participate in interactive workshops designed to help them reflect on their strengths, goals, and personal development.
Pupils will also have the extraordinary opportunity to meet Christo Brand, Nelson Mandela’s main prison guard for twelve years and co-author of Doing Life with Mandela: My Prisoner, My Friend. Christo will share his remarkable story of humanity, forgiveness, and respect, inviting pupils to reflect on freedom, responsibility, and the value of recognising the humanity in others.
We are also hosting a public talk with Christo Brand and Anthony Willoughby on Wednesday, 5 February at 18:30, where members of the public are very welcome to attend. Further information, including ticket details, can be found here.
