In recent months, we have gathered information on the reported positive cases connected to all members of the school community. We often see that confirmed positive cases had rather minor symptoms - such as a slight headache or fever, a mild sore throat, slight coughing or feeling tired and a little unwell. Some did not experience any symptoms at all.
In the vast majority of the cases, no major symptoms were experienced and fortunately all members have returned to good health relatively quickly afterwards. Although positive in one respect, the downside is that these less severe symptoms makes us believe that there is nothing wrong and that it is fine to send children to school as it is most likely something less sinister.
Whilst we understand that a cough, slightly raised temperature, or any other prescribed symptom is not always a confirmation of a Covid-19 infection, we strongly recommend that you take the BAG's online check and call your doctor for advice BEFORE sending your child to school when any symptoms - no matter how slight - are present.
To continue to provide our full services, we depend on the support of each member of our school community. Only by taking such actions can we avoid a potential further spread within the school and a subsequent closing of groups.
Further to the BAG information from 15th of March, quick tests are free of charge for all and are recommended to also be taken before meeting up with others in private, or in case of a suspected contact with a Covid-19 positive person - even if one is not showing any symptoms.
Should you have your child tested at any point, as always, please forward the test result to us. From now on, please send the test result directly to:

Using these two platforms will ensure that the information gets to the right person quickly. We can ask for all necessary information for internal assessment and will then communicate with the authorities and school community.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
