Tandem IMS is a respected international school in Zurich, offering high-quality, multilingual education from Early Years to Secondary. To support our Kindergarten programme in Zurich Seefeld, we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic:
French Teacher (20%)
to lead our weekly “French Friday” sessions in Kindergarten
->This position will be fixed-term until 31 December 2025.
Every Friday, you will:
✔️ Teach a Kindergarten class of children aged 4–5
✔️ Lead a French-language programme designed to support both beginners and native speakers
✔️ Plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons that make language learning meaningful and motivating
✔️ Work alongside an experienced co-teacher in a multilingual, international classroom setting
Our Kindergarten includes a small number of native French speakers, but for most children, this will be their first exposure to the French language.
What You Bring
- Native-level French proficiency
- Qualification in Kindergarten or Primary Education
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and the ability to support mixed-language abilities
- Good command of English (German is a plus)
- An interest in working within a collaborative, international team
