The renowned Swiss International Music School has helped hundreds of children learn to play the piano to a very high standard whilst allowing creativity, passion and expression to flow. They understand that developing musical abilities from a young age helps children create an appreciation of rhythm and promotes spatial recognition, fine motor skills and an understanding of sequences and patterns.

At the end of the school year SIMS run their own concert. It is optional for parents to sign their children up. The SIMS concert is completely externally organised and it is not the responsibility of Tandem IMS to share information, promote or support the running of the event.

Tandem IMS is proud to present their first ever school choir!
Singing as a group is great fun and has the power to bring different ages and abilities together to successfully create something special in the arts. This fully inclusive choir, which requires no auditions and is run by the experienced and always upbeat music teacher Miss Penrose. This workout for the lungs, will provide a safe space for children to enable them to utilise their voices and to express themselves freely through a variety of modern and classical song genres. The choir's journey and achievements will be celebrated in performances throughout the year to lift the spirits and to build the school's community!

Chueja Furrer has over 30 years of piano teaching experience, and offers a child friendly approach to learning the piano using the Suzuki method. Chueja adapts her teaching to the individual’s needs.

Mr. Beatriz Arias, from, The Swiss International Music School, is an accomplished violinist who is studying music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel. She is able to tailor her approach to each individual to best complement their abilities and enrich their musical journey. She believes that music does not have borders nor limits, and she intends to pass on her knowledge and passion this way. Rhythm and playing together is central in her teaching. She is very excited to begin working with your child and to share their musical journey!

Liena Gubareva has been working in Zurich for 25 years as an athletics instructor of ice-skating, gymnastics, acrobatics, tennis and hockey. She has since started collaborating with private schools in order to introduce young children to the exciting world of gymnastics, sports, acrobatics and choreography. Challenging the children physically but also listening to their current interests, this club aims to give children active access to the world of gymnastics and will open the door to many sporting opportunities such as figure skating, tennis, ice hockey, sports gymnastics, athletics and more.
